SW-63 & HE Crossover

Gradient SW-63 subwoofer unit perfects the legendary Quad ESL-63 electrostatic speaker. Together with Gradient HE Crossover, the result is one of the best loudspeaker systems ever designed.

Majority of the subwoofers are bass reflex loaded, they produce an isotropic radiation pattern (omnidirectional) at low frequencies. This type of radiation pattern is impossible to integrate with the dipole pattern of the ESL-63. Gradient SW-63 is the only dipole subwoofer in the market, specifically designed for ESL-63. It integrates seamlessly to the speaker, serving in the same time as a stand.

Gradient HE crossover adds needed versatility to the ESL/SW-63 system. Equipped with both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections to suite every audio system. Bass can be adjusted according to personal taste and listening room acoustics. Bass fine tuning for best possible sound reproducing can be achieved by Q-value adjustment.
