Gradient’s service department is upgrading these 1. vintage models with new elements and checking their crossovers for years to come. Their proud owners are reluctant to trade them for anything else on the market. Some of the listeners of younger generation have been inheriting these beloved speakers form their parents and are now using them daily as a central part of the reborn vinyl movement.

Company carried on producing and developing 1. series until the Gradient 1.3 model and late 90’s when it was replaced by Salmi’s further innovations on directivity and the use of dipole elements.
