Some Highlights in the History of Gradient
1997
GRADIENT REVOLUTION - PRODUCT OF THE YEAR
Gradient Revolution was selected to the list of the 1997 Products of the Year in the Stereophile magazine (Stereophile, December 1997).
1999
GRADIENT PRELUDE
For the increasing demand of speaker for multichannel systems, as well as smaller listening rooms, Gradient introduced a Gradient Prelude. The coaxial driver technology developed by Gradient and SEAS (of Norway) enabled to manufacture a small 2-way Gradient loudspeaker of the highest quality.
Gradient Prelude was a great success, one of the best selling products in the history of Gradient.
Also Gradient Revolution Active was launched in 1999. The semi-active version of Gradient Revolution, was immediately recognized all over the world and it is still considered as one of the best loudspeakers ever designed.

2002
BRAVO!
Partnership with Japanese Combak Corporation brought a high-end 2-way speaker into the global market. The Bravo speaker was exclusively manufactured for Combak Corp.
In the next year, Gradient Lauri was launched. It was basically similar design than the Bravo, but sold in Finland only.
2005
GOLDEN EAR AWARD FOR GRADIENT
In 2005, highly respected Golden Ear Award was given for the Gradient Revolution Active by The Absolute Sound.
2007
‘ OUT OF THE BOX ‘ - GRADIENT HELSINKI 1.5
in 2007, Gradient introduced a loudspeaker concept born from out of the box thinking - Gradient Helsinki 1.5.
2008
GOLDEN EAR AWARD FOR GRADIENT
The Absolut Sound - magazine awarded Gradient again. Now Golden Ear Award was given to Gradient Helsinki 1.5.
In 2008, Gradient Laura entered the market.
